Walnut stock blank

Post by Melix »

I apologize if this is posted in the wrong category, but am interested in advice at first, then perhaps will offer it for sale in the ‘Fox Parts’ listings, so here goes:

If you could post pictures of the blank, you could put it on the "Fox parts for sale" section of the forum. Four inches wide would make me a crossover stock. Four inch blanks are hard to find.

Steve,
It is just about impossible to estimate the value of a blank without seeing it. Color, figure, faults and grain layout all come into play when determining the grade or value of a blank. You may have to send the piece to a dealer for evaluation. What you describe should have value, but determining how much is a first person sort of thing.
Cheers,
