This isn't a Fox event per se, but a promising side by side event at a reportedly beautiful location in northern Michigan this September.
Looks to be a fun time.

Re: Tunnel of Trees SxS event
Hey "Grade III". Did you attend the "Tunnel of Trees" event? I thought about it, but I had a wedding to attend on Friday, and I went to the U of M game on Saturday.
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.
Re: Tunnel of Trees SxS event
Sorry, haven't been on this forum much, and missed your question.
Yes, I attended the event, and I thought it was well organized and a lot of fun. I only shot the main event package (Sat & Sun plus the simulated pigeon ring). The club is very nicely designed, with sturdily built and landscaped shooting stands. The woods have been opened up sufficiently to avoid short windows. The targets were, for the most part, set well. There were a few visual problems -- e.g. hard to see black targets against the treed background, and a couple of stations that were directly in the sun, but all in all it was a nice first effort. The 5 stand (practice only) was overpriced at $15/round. The target difficulty was moderate and would appeal to a wide variety of shooters.
It was apparent that the organizers want to improve the event in the future. They included a survey form with each registration package asking for suggestions. There were a couple of vendor tents with a nice mix of vendors.
I would recommend this shoot to any SxS aficionados, and plan to attend next year.

Thanks for the update. It's about 2 - 2 1/2 hours from my cottage so I might give it a try one of these years.
