Fox-Lefever Challenge
With the event approximately one month away, I was wondering if the event rules have been formulated yet and could someone post them? I am particularly interested in the acceptable equipment and modifications list. I assume holographic sights, radar ribs, non spherical low drag pellets and recoilless smart ammo are out, but I would not want to be caught at a competitive disadvantage for failing to inquire. There is still time for modifications....

Vixen Magnet,
The BOD's have a conference call on Wed. to finalize our plans for Hausmann's. Rules/ info will be posted by the end of next week.
(I would assume the structure will mimic that of the Fox vs. Parker Challenge.) Fox guns from Philly, Utica and New Britain, CT (CSMC) are allowed.

On the whole....I'd rather be in Philadelphia....

Yup, what Tool said. Basically the same rules, just a different manufacturer to shoot against. BTW, the shoot-off will be held on the 5-Stand event instead of on a tweaked Bo-Whoop field.

Re: Fox-Lefever Challenge
Woo Hoo! Dr. Bob was bending my arm while at the Southern to shoot for Lefever and I couldn't hold back, just had to tell him about my new Lefever Nitro Special custom. Sleeved to 34" with n/o/s Whitworth tubes, profiled breech balls, overbored to .740" and with cones and chokes massaged by Becker's great grandson. Engraved by the Master down in Easton with birds, ducks and even a few crows willy-nilly. Also has a Turkish Circassian stock that will turn heads. She's chomping at the bit to smoke some targets at Hidden Hollow.
Just one month to go!!!!! Readers, please see the event link below.
Magnet, sorry i didn't tell you about this gun while talking at the Hampton over breakfast. Too many others within earshot

Edited - a couple of gents wrote asking if I was serious about the custom Nitro Special. No, the gun is a spoof. Besides, I don't know if Ithaca/Lefever Nitros would qualify. However I did see Dr. Bob, the D M Lefever man, and Vixen Magnet while at the Southern.

Re: Fox-Lefever Challenge
I think you should shoot for Lefever. That would make more Fox shooters step up to the plate and compete with those guns they're always writing about!!
