12 Gauge
What would be the chamber length?
I received a Callahan letter but CL not mentioned.
I'd like to use this on geese this season and also looking for shell recommendations. RST site says they are out of nontox.
Thanks

Re: AE 1910
The chamber length would most likely by 2 5/8 inch, intended for 2 3/4 inch shells. However, A.H. Fox Gun Co. would chamber for longer shells at no extra charge on a new gun. In 1910 our North American ammunition manufacturers were offering paper 12-gauge shells with loads up to 1 1/8 ounce in 2 5/8 inch shells and 1 1/4 ounce in 2 3/4, 2 7/8 and 3-inch cases. The advantage of the 2 7/8 and 3-inch case was more/better wadding, not a heavier charge or payload.
