Pheasant season
Pheasant season closes today where I live. I got the long barreled Fox out for one more hunt with my son Ben. As we approached the truck at the end of our hunt Ben said it seems like the season just started. After a minute I replied before you know it forty seasons have come and gone. To which Ben said "Dad, I think the number is closer to fifty". He was right about the math but could have been smart enough to keep his mouth shut.

John: Last week, hunting with old lee,, you know who I'am with,, He tells the SAME STORY only difference is the years are over 70. He still goes every day, and he has snuck into our secret hunting area this season. His first Idaho hunting license was in 1938.

Good for Lee! He understood how steel shot actually worked years before most manufactures. He doesn't shoot a fox but he shoots what he does far better than most.
