Know nada about this stuff and whether its safe for classic doubles. However, it was just approved by US Dept of Interior this week. The link should be to Dept of Interior letter and a link to Boss Legacy ammo.

The situation with non-toxic ammo for vintage doubles is getting critical. Bismuth factory loads and shot for reloading is almost non-existent. The Chinese have embargoed bismuth and they are by far the largest producer on the planet. Not sure about copper shot but I won't be shooting it through my guns anytime soon.

My favorite pheasant gun shoots 21/2 inch shells in 16 gauge. I hunt in a no tox zone. I’m running low on shells and don’t reload. Any suggestions? Certainly effects the value of a gun for guys like me.
