Re: DE on the Parker site.
Many of us handed this gun at Hausmann's a couple years back. Pretty gun it does have a perch belly or swale in the stock. Look at the line of stock from the comb back and you can see the swale. The repairs appear to have been made by talented craftsmen. DE's with 32" barrels are a rare gun.

Did you notice the different font in the serial number on the barrel flats? 235 looked factory to me but the 90 was in a different font.

Re: DE on the Parker site.
Just a note here; the DE 32 straight gripper is in the Parker Members For Sale area and it's not accessible to non-PGCA members.
First time I handled and inspected this Fox was in 2009 at the Northeast SxS/Hidden Hollow when it was for sale by a gent from TN who was a vendor. A close friend who couldn't attend but was considering buying the Fox asked me to inspect and give him a report by cell. At that time the Fox was in "as found" condition and it had a pronounced swale that had been cut into its comb where the shooter's cheek would rest. The crack in the wrist was also there but didn't appear to be going anywhere. I also noted the overbore in the left barrel.
This is the Fox that walked into the Southern SxS in 2018 and found its way to our booth.
Next time I saw and handled it was in June 2018 also at the Northeast SxS when Barnett had it for sale; Steve told me it was on consignment. I checked my pics taken then and the sides of the barrel flats and the cocking slide weren't jeweled at that time. Also, that unknown (to me) RP/oval stamp was present on the border of the left barrel flat.
Beyond this history I don't have any opinions beyond that the work appears to have been done by a good man/men.
For those MEMBERS with interest there's a thread in our Members Forum on this Fox. You can find it using the Advanced Search function and searching with key words "Southern Becker". Thanks to our member Scaupman, page 2 of the thread has some interesting info and many pics of this Fox as it appeared in November 2009.

Puglisi is offering a straight grip earlier style 32-inch DE-Grade, serial number 9564 for a measly $26,500

Thank you, Frank, for the detailed description and timeline(s) of this gun's "track through the universe." I could have written my own version for a post-Southern SxS episode, but it would have gone on for 3 pages! This is without question a "Paradox Fox." Kevin

Re: DE on the Parker site.
Here's one I took on June 7, 2018 on Steve's table at the Northeast SxS at Hidden Hollow. Anyone have a good pic of the top barrel rib?

Re: DE on the Parker site.
Yes Spyder, John Allen's Game Fair was the origin of the "modern loop" in the history of this gun. Who had it or where it came from prior to that is anyone's guess. The gentleman who showed up with it at the Southern SxS as noted by previous posters did say that he got it from John, exactly when we never found out. Kevin
