Sterlingworth and bushy tails

Post by Weagle »

It was an absolutely beautiful afternoon yesterday in the National Forrest in Jasper Co GA. Despite the pair of red tail hawks constantly screeching overhead causing my intended quarry to be in high alert mode, my 16ga Sterlingworth connected on 3 squirrels. The 60 ft high hickory trees were no match for a load of #4s from the 30" tubes. It would have been a wonderful afternoon even without success, but I was proud I could to get the old Fox back in the game for another win.

Sounds like a perfect day, and I can’t think of a better squirrel hunting companion than a 30” 16 ga. Thanks for sharing your pictures.
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.
