More Pics of Fox Booth activities at Hausmann's

[Sporrns]

Lots of good stuff has been written already since the wonderful weekend at Hausmann's, but I thought I would post a few more pics for the good of the chapter, so to speak. This year's Fox Gun display was a little different; we did a "flat" display, e.g. laid guns on the table instead of hanging them in a vertical rack. Small pedestals used behind the breech areas gave a nice 3-D effect for pics and contrast. This change was effected in consideration of handling and arranging a number of new-to-the-display high grade Foxes in very high condition. (We continued to use the 2 vertical racks for member's guns for sale, which always works out well).

The guns displayed (in no particular order) were: 12 ga. 30" straight grip DE, 2 very high condition 30" 12 ga. XEs; a 32" 3" HE, CE 16 ga. 26" w/ original Kautzky trigger, BE 28" 20 ga., high condition A 20 ga. 32"barrels, a "rescued & restored" very early (SN 50040) Wayne Junction address 12 ga. Sterlingworth 'Pin Gun', and a 16 ga. 26" straight grip Savage Skeet & Upland Game Gun, and the ever-popular Savage Utica BSE 12 ga. Fox cutaway gun. Randy Roberts also graciously allowed us to display and examine his new 34" Fox A grade custom-ordered with Bohler Steel barrels with 2 7/8" chambers. You never know what is going to surface at these events; "Y'all Come"!! Enjoy, Kevin

Kevin, you (and let's not forget Tom's eager assistance) put together a wonderful display to showcase A.H. Fox guns, which also reflects nicely on the entire organization. Thanks!
