Is the assumption that it says AH Fox on it?

One thing you can do is request the card for it,

You can do that in the members section

By the serial number- about 1910 I think

What is the barrel length?

Of course condition makes a big difference in value, it would help members to give you opinions with clear photos

Welcome Max. The factory card does exist for your gun. Are you a member of our growing asylum?? If so, you can request your annual complimentary look-up on the Member's Forum. If not, I'd urge you to join-up, if for nothing else to unlock the history behind a wondrous, family heirloom. Good luck.----SC

If the gun has a large 2ND stamped on the barrel flats it was deemed a second for some reason and was likely sold to an employee.

Yes It has a 2nd stamped on it :(
It has a 30" barrel
This shotgun must have stayed in the corner most of it's life because it's in really good shape.

This is the worst place on the gun

Well, to this novice it looks like a fun gun to own, and I'm sure that Ansley's "2nd" is better than many guns produced today. If it still works after 100 years the designation as a "2nd" just gives it a little character. :) Jeff

That is a very nice piece of wood for an A-Grade, and a straight grip was probably on less than 10% of the guns made. What is not to like!!
