Unusual Waterfowl Bands

Be careful how you display your bands. A good friend in Arkansas had his call lanyard, with probably forty bands on it, hanging on the rearview mirror inside his pickup. When he came back the side window was knocked out and all his calls and bands were gone.

Jim asked for pictures of the bands used on day old ducklings.

I followed Peter's work and I think they eventually used it some on Mallards but I don't think it was as predictable as Wood Ducks in nesting boxes. I think some Hoodies got them too as they readily use the boxes around here.
