Bo-Whoop Trophy is here

Post by Silvers »

Here's a pic of the Bo-Whoop Trophy for our event at the Northeast Side X Side Classic Tournament to be held at Hausmann's Hidden Hollow Sporting Clays in Friendsville, PA on May 16 - 18. I'm sure some of you can see your name engraved on that first plate.....

Full details are shown here - check the Events icon on our Home page. This is only one of the many events to be held that weekend at Hidden Hollow. Also check out the RBL Challenge on Sunday May 18.

For those who haven't made room reservations yet, do not delay! There's a full list of places on the HH website.

Nice trophy Frank. Make sure we get to see some pics of the winner and the gun that wins.

(Copy of reply I posted on the doublegunshop forum)

Seeing some HE Super Foxes would be nice but the targets won't be set to fly "in the next county". Anyone with a tight choked Fox could be competitive. Silvers

I wouldn't count anyone out, or put anyone's name on the plate just yet. Some shooters are better at one presentation but not so good at another one. Things happen, one shooter has a bad day, another one is shooting lights out. Usually a better shooter will prevail over a 100 bird course but you never know with 5 pairs of the same targets. Frank

What days of the shoot will the preliminaries for the Bo Whoop trophy be held? What day and time will the "shootoff" for high preliminary scores be held? These details seem to be missing from the program.

Preliminary shooting may place any time during open hours from Friday 16th morning through Sunday 18th at 1:00pm CUTOFF. The B-W targets will be changed from 1:00 - 2:00pm on Sunday; and those who tied for high score with a Fox gun will shoot off for the B-W Trophy at 2:00PM on Sunday. If only one Fox shooter has the high score the Trophy Event ceremony will take place at 2:00pm.

We will do the B-W shoot off at 2pm on Sunday to accomodate those who have significant travel to return home.

Any Fox shooters with high score in the preliminary score shooting are encouraged to shoot the American Side by Side Classic early on Sunday so they can be present for the B-W Trophy shoot off at 2:00PM.

The Fox Directors will make any necessary changes to this schedule while at Hidden Hollow if there are any unforseen circumstances (severe weather, electric storm, etc.) that would make such a change prudent.
