The price to shoot is going up!
Hello: i just got back from the sportsman's warehouse and i am still in SHOT-SHOCK!! i normal buy most of my reloading supply's thier about a year's supply at a time. well last year at this time it was18 or 19 bucks a bag. well they normaly put on a pallet for me i pay and go around and pick it up. they went to ring it up and what was 18 or 19 a bag is now $49.99!!! thats right per bag! in just one short year! needless to say the shot stayed. does anyone know of some other outlet or distributor. or are reloaders going to be a thing of the past?

I bought two bags of #9 shot for $30.99 per bag at White Elephant in Spokane Valley last week. Lead has been coming back down on the spot market, but it will take a while to filter down to consumers.
Why would anyone pay Sportsmans Whorehouse prices?? I have to be pretty desperate to go in that waste of Spokane Valley Mall space!

Thank you for your time and tip's: i just got back from a bad quail hunt some rain a lot of wind! one of the guy's work's as a border patrol agent we got on the subject of the price of shot.he said that it's not going to come down any time soon and may still go up. because they are making the new caddet's for boder patrol and some other form's of law-enforcment agency's are having to train with dummy round's. because they cant get enough ammo! the war caught the manufacture's off gaurd and that most of what is being produced is sent their. i checked out a web page of a local new's cast from a few months back and they did run about a 30 second spot on it and that that's why that copper and lead have sky-rocketed!
