Anyone found a source for Hodgdon Clay? Everywhere I've tried is backordered.

I saw three 4# jugs at Sportsman's Warehouse in Lexington Ky on Wed. So maybe the supply is making a comeback. I think tHey were $74, not sure now.

Thanks for the assist. I tried Sportsmans and they had sold out. Finally found some locally at an out of sight price.

The price of fun is getting pretty steep. I paid $50.00 for a bag of West Coast magnum shot at Cabelas Saturday. Thank goodness for birthday gift cards.

According to my local big components dealer, with the big accident at the plant in Australia it is going to take 18 months to two years to fully recharge the supply pipeline. I was looking for Universal.

My hearing about the accident in Australia happened to coincide with the last Gun Show that rolled through town, and there are several dealers I can expect to see there with Powder. I got lucky, and bought 14 lbs of Clays that day (at normal rates), for some new 3/4oz low pressure loads. I haven't seen any available through the standard channels I've come to use though. TB, I'll second your sentiment on the price of lead shot. Makes me wish I didn't need some of it right now.

There is nothing the (frequently) unobtainable Hodgdon powders will do that the domestic and cheaper Alliant powders will not do as well.
