receiver interior cleaning

Post by snowdosa »

Hey now,

so the receivers interior is quite rough with rust and appears almost pitted or corroded. i imagine a steel brush would be best to remove the rust from this rough sruface.

Any advice on how to go about this? Or maybe if you've encountered a rough interior while doing a restore.

i dont imagine that this is originally what the interior should look like, it must be a result from longterm rusting and pitting to produce such a bumpy corroded surface. 1958.
