Re: Sad news Jerry Andrew's LC Smith gunsmith

I just bought a CE from Him about a month ago. Had a wonderful conversation with him about WV and his hobbies. Sorry to hear this and will be thinking/praying for him and his family.

Re: A Grade at Cabelas

Craig, congrats on two very nice guns. Like you said, used but not abused and both appear to be well taken care of. Both of those guns will be great for your SD trip. We’ll look forward to some pics later this fall when both of them are in action out West! Thanks for sharing the info on these two gu...

Re: A Grade at Cabelas

Not much detail given on the gun but if it hasn’t sold someone could call and try to get additional details. I looked at the gun with the limited pics and doesn’t appear to be in bad shape. Just a lot of unknowns.

Re: Dad's Fox Sterlingworth

Assuming from your handle and comments that you are into turkey hunting. We’d love to see a pic of you with a big gobbler holding that Sterlingworth!!! There are definitely loads that it can handle that would be deadly on a gobbler!!

How close were they for the shot?
Both of them were about 20-22 yards. Relatively close shots.

Re: MI Spring Gobbler Season

That’s a great hunt with fond memories I’m sure. Congratulations for sure. I’m curious as to what loads you were using? Reloads or factory?🤠 I was using a Fiocchi 1 1/4 oz # 5 - 2 3/4” shell. I bought two 10 shell boxes of these loads several years ago and wish I had bought more. I have also used R...

Re: MI Spring Gobbler Season

Now wasn't that more fun than the Southern? Reggie, I have to say it sure was fun! While I love the shoots I absolutely love Turkey hunting! The best part was getting my S-I-L on his first Gobbler! It just doesn’t get any better!! I have a video of the hunt. Both Gobblers came out of the woods to o...

Re: MI Spring Gobbler Season

Due to a family obligation I had to cancel my trip to the Southern. While I was bummed when you have lemons make lemonade!!! Had the chance to hunt w/my S-I-L this morning. 42 degrees and a little overcast but a nice morning. Knowing the birds were roosting on the farm to the East of us we sat along...
