20 ga Sterlingworth with ejectors

Any idea on how many 28" guns in 20 ga with ejectors were made?

Serial is 264xxx

What's a fair price for a clean example of said gun?

Re: NE Gunsmith

Contact Robin Hollow Outfitters in Mapleville RI (I have no affiliation with them, other than being a satisfied customer).

They deal extensively with vintage shotguns and I am sure they will point you in the right direction.

PS--my 16 ga BE came from them :)

Good luck,
Jeremy

Re: Rhode Island Youth Enjoys Grand Dad's Sterly!!

I was shooting the same day right behind this group. The young boy looked like he had a great time! And Todd is one heck of an instructor! Thanks for sharing!

16 ga BE -- production years

What was the last year of production for the 16 gauge BE? I saw a chart on Double Gun indicating 1920 but the Fox catalogs suggest 1918. Serial 301217. My gun was shipped in Sep 1923.

Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Re: New Fox gun

Hi MilRob---what suggests that the gun went back for rework? I expect to have the factory info shortly which will definitively tell us how the gun left the factory.

New Fox gun

Hi, this is my first post showing a recently acquired (yesterday) 1920 A.H. Fox 16 ga BE with 28" barrels, choked IC-M with a single selective trigger. The gun is all original, including the butt plate. The bluing on the Chromox barrels is excellent, and the engravings are nice and clean. Photo...

Gun cases

Hi all, I'm a new member to this forum. I'm bringing home my first Fox next weekend---a 1920 16 ga BE, 28" barrels, all original in excellent condition. Could you kindly post some pictures of what you carry your Fox guns in? I'm looking for a nice hard case designed specifically to carry a side...
