I have a friend with serial #51 incomplete an he is needing the forearm hardware. Can the new ejectors be modified to work or will he need the first ejector design?

What makes him/you think this is an ejector gun?

Nic was unsuccessful logging on. He tells me the barrels have ejectors in the receiver has a ejector trips. His previous employment including working at Purdy an Wesley Richards so I think he would know.

Previous to this gun, the 84 Philadelphia Arms Co. guns (or parts thereof) that I've recorded have serial numbers from 59 to 1846 and are all extractor guns. The one ejector gun that has surfaced has a serial number in the 26xx range, and its ejectors certainly aren't of the Max Wirsing design from Patent No. 767,621 that was assigned to Philadelphia Arms Co. Neither of the known Philadelphia Arms Co. catalogs, 1904 and 1905, mention or price ejectors, but the order form in the 1905 catalog has the line "Ejector or Non-ejector__________________________________________".
The extractor guns only have a guide pin for the extractor on the left side --
so a hole for a guide pin under the right barrel could be a clue for an ejector gun.

Amazing information, Nic is mentoring me an im currently working on a fitting new droplocks on a westly richards.
The next time im there will look for the guide pin. This is exactly the information needed

Researcher your comment have been are tremendously helpful. As you can see above the Philadelphia arms is an extractor gun per your detailed pictures. You are a great and knowledgeable resource. No we just need to locate the proper parts. Hopefully finding extractor parts will be much easier than the ejectors.
