This empty Winchester box went for $4349 --

With RANGER on the box it is about $4280 less --

That Peters box is in nice shape, what time period we talking about?

The Peters box would be from the early 1930s. In 1931 they went to their non-corrosive primers "Rustless" and before they were acquired by DuPont in 1934.
The Winchester REPEATER TRAP LOAD box is from 1935-6 --
- REPEATER Shells 1935-6 folder
- RANGER Shells 1935-6 folder
By 1937, REPEATER shells were gone from the Winchester catalogs and the RANGER line was greatly expanded --
- RANGER Shells 1937-8
By 1939, the 12-, 16- and 20-gauge Skeet and Trap loads had the new Super Seal Crimp --

No buys by me. The things I did bid on shot well beyond my comfort zone. Anyway, gotta save my pennies for when that box of Western, Super-X, 3-inch, Lubaloy Pigeon Loads appears!!

I have missed Lubaloy pigeon loads in the past. I would appreciate your advice on the dispersion of the Buckingham-Bartholomew 3 inch Western 1 3/8 ounce Lubaloy shells. I have not yet opened the case, will only do so when the cameras are rolling. Some negative comment from a previous poster has put the opening of the case on hold.
