Fox Safety Slides

Were there any early--before 1910, Graded guns having a safety slide similar to the Savage style slide shown in the Styles section of the Fox
Home page?

I'd normally say it would be an indication the gun was at Utica or Chic Falls for service at some point in time. Perhaps adding a safety to a gun that started life without?!?

This photo is actually of an early (1907) B GRADE, not an A GRADE.

Why only pictures of A and C Grades but no B Grades???

Sorry for the misleading title. I have a 1909 CE that has what seems to be
the wrong safety slide design.

My intent was to have the proper slide design in hand and then find one for
my gun.
