Here is a picture of a nice original condition LC Smith 16 I used to have. This one is a field grade featherweight with 30 inch tubes.

When you find them in this condition, it is hard not to stray.....but I did stupidly sell it to a buddy in a weak moment.

Very nice Smith .I own a 20 gauge ejector field grade with 32 inch barrels that I have managed to hold on to so far. Bobby

and a quality 3 project gun- (broken but repairable stock)
this is the only gun i have that wears both ruffed grouse and woodcock
and it weighs almost 9 pounds and 32" full and full barrels  not hauling it through an alder bottom- but clays next year and then the duck blind
