Did Fox use a standard checkering ie: 22 lines per inch for stock and fore end checkering? Did the lpi change from grade to grade or even when they moved to Utica? Or did Fox use random checkering as they felt appropriate?
Thanks
JB

I just recut the checkering on an early 20 gauge sterlingworth and it measured 16 lines per inch, gun was made in 1916.Graded guns had smaller diamonds but i do not have time to check one right now.Bobby
