Would a 12GA Pin Trigger Guard Fit on 20GA Fox Sterlingworth

Hello Fox Lovers,

I need help on technical issue. I have a trigger guard from 12ga PIN gun. Would it fit / work with a 20ga Fox Sterlingworth. Do I have to make any modification to make it work. Thanks in advance.

It should thread into the trigger plate. The arc of one may be slightly different than the other. The down side of such a swap is that the serial # will be engraved on the trigger guard.
