The gun pictured is obviously an XE-Grade with a recoil pad while the description says DE-Grade with a butt plate?!?

BINGO!

Undoubtedly the "best ever found" and it probably "never had a screw turned".

Yea but it's only $22,000.00

I've heard a lot of stories about this dealer over the years. I haven't seen his name since I quit taking the gun list several years ago. He used to take out full page ad's proclaiming he had the finest guns available and he was always very high priced.

Amazingly, someone must have thought it was described correctly, described honestly and priced right.

Great !

I have been thinking about offering my F grade.

It is one of a kind. The original owner was very image conscious and didn't want to have it seem like he was being flashy during the depression so he order this F grade with A grade features and wood.

Looks new!

The Mack Sennett F-Grade has just a sort of Greecian Chain border engraving and the rest of the area sort of shaded with a very fine cuts. No scroll, no vines, no game scenes. The Double Gun Journal, Volume Seven, Issue 1, page 71.
