I’m amazed that you continue to find “like new” guns. Those are beautiful. Was the “C” engraved by engraver X,Y or Z?

Mr. X, early style C's are one of my favorite Foxes, great fit and finish and very nice fancy wood.

It's been and interesting couple of years for me refining my gun collection. For a time I thought it would be fun to own a few LCS's and Leferver's. But as nice Foxes became available last year, I decided to sell off the LCS's, Lefever's and a handful of high grade Foxes that were duplicates. I enjoy being in the game and plan to keep trading up. I do not own a Fox 20ga, so that is one hole I would like to fill at some point. I would like a XE 20 head down style but I'm not holding my breath. :D

I wonder how many 20 ga., 30”, XE’s with a nose down Fox were made? Probably single digits.

Rich Anderson owns one and a few in well used condition have surfaced, like 200260 below. I have identified a possible 49 made, all 1916 or before up to serial number 200998.
