Craig, great pictures. I remember seeing that gun last year at Ernie's. First Crown I ever saw that didn't feature dogs on the lock plates. An incredible gun. That pup of yours is having quite the inaugural season, She is a lucky dog to have landed with an avid hunter who can exposer her to great hunts all fall. Keep the reports coming.

Nice photos Craig. I can almost feel how Mollie feels pooped out on a leather couch in front of a fire. Really, is nothing too good for our dogs?

Craig, great pics. Thanks for sharing. Mollie is certainly in her glory as I'm sure you are too. Like Don, I remember you getting a Crown LCS at the Northeast SxS some years ago; I assume that's the one that came from Jim, Steve's buddy. Memory is a little vague but is it a Crown/Long Range? frank

Frank, I will let Craig give the true version, but I think that Crown came from Bill of Robin Hollow fame.

Frank you are thinking about the Long Range Eagle Grade, a certain LCS collector with the initials FF now owns the gun. Don is correct the Crown came from Robin Hollow. The specs of the Crownn suits 90% of the type of hubting I do. I have only one Lefever and one LC Smith left in my collection.

Yesterday Mollie picked up another 6 Wood Ducks for my son and I. I was shooting my Parker DHE 12ga 30" straight grip #2 frame Parker choked IC/F. IC/F is my favorite duck gun chokes for small ducks loaded with bismuth #5 or #4.

A mighty fine looking Parker that seems to work so well for you on a duck hunt. Bismuth 4 or 5 has proven to be quite effective on waterfowl in a vintage gun.

Good Lord Craig, you are having a nice start to your season. I'm glad you and Doug got to share some time together with bagging some ducks and working Mollie as a bonus.

Daryl: The tables will turn, I kinda think the woodies will leave in the next few days. Hit freezing the last two mornings.
