Personally, I would love to own an XE. Be a little careful on the price. My bet is that the wood is not original, and while it’s a beautiful gun, if the wood isn’t original the price should go down. Jeff

Thanks gentlemen
If I can get it anywhere close to what they think it's worth.
I'll steal it.

Beautiful gun but it appears to be a poorly done restock.
Buy it right and get it properly restocked.

You guys are always accommodating and helpful to a low budget guy such as me.
Thank you
The store if they get this they only valued it at 600.
I'm first in line and it would be another dream gun for me.

You've gotten plenty of good info from resources here in 80+ posts since 2020. Low budget considering a restock with knockout wood? Just wondering if you're a current paying AFHCA member? Only $30. per year. frank

The stock IIRC was around 125
I'd probably pay the guy I'd be using with the barter system.....it still works.
Advice and knowledge in areas I know I give freely.
I'm not current and should be.
I only have one fox in my stable and you wouldn't house it.
I like many old guns and these are two of the reasons I try to pass it on.
The pheasant was his first ever

I went back today Jeff and was surprised to the serial number On the foreend.
I looked at other XE guns online after your post and didn't think this wood measured up also.

Nice rooster. If you can get that gun at a good price you should do it. Old side x sides are fun to own.
