Re: Need to quit getting up early
The seller told me the buyer didn't like the chokes?? Bores are .619 both chokes are tapered 3 3/4" all the way to the end .012/.017 and the chambers are 2 1/2" keys in place.
The only thing I can see is it is a little off face but hey that's fixable for $400. A few more pictures, not a mint gun but a nice example

Me thinks the original buyer was missing the boat. Craig, what did the chokes letter at? PS. Heckuva nice gun and frankly my dream gun. Course it was my dream gun before I got into all these custom Foxes.

Factory card is missing along with 9 others I think maybe the guys copying the cards skipped 10 cards which is a full page in our copies. I hesitate sending for a Savage letter it seems like a horror show. I will take it Merans quail hunting in AZ this next January.

A great field gun Craig, Just the way I like them, nice enough to show but not so perfect I am leery about taking afield. It will look great on those oak covered hills.

Re: Need to quit getting up early
No plans right now. I've been looking for a 28" at the right price for quite a while. The prices I've seen on these lately have been a tad crazy based on the condition of the guns I've been looking at.67galaxie wrote:VT are you selling the 20?

Nice gun Craig, welcome to the smallbore club. The only thing is we of the smallbore club don't need someone like you with deep pockets scarfing up those little gems. Please stick to the Supers.
That looks to be the perfect gun for those SD roosters. Bring it and we'll have a smallbore Fox day.

Craig, that's a beautiful gun. As always, I'm just a wee bit jealous.
