Brian, Do you know who the C engraving was done buy ? Great looking gun should handle like a dream !

The engraving appears to be factory. Based on what I know of the gun and the factory letter indicating that it was sold, returned to factory a year later and then resold to an employee would indicate that it is mot likely a lunch box special.
a number of Fox experts and collectors have looked at it and all feel its factory. but we will never be able to prove it. but anyone who has seen a C grade and this one will agree they are the same

I believe you could be right. I have 3 CE grade Fox shotguns I don't see much difference. I'm thinking of having my 16 SW done with C engraving and was looking for someone who could come close to duplicating the original. Maybe one of the fellow members could point me in the right direction.

Really sweet looking. I meet with Dan on Sunday and got my 20 gauge custom back as he was headed back from the Southern. He said your gun was amazing and had some of the best walnut he had even seen.
