If anyone also has a picture of a early AE grade small bore escutheon I'd love to see that as well. Seems when it comes to spring time lots of devious things that cost lots of money run through my head. : )

Frank, good catch on the rounding of the finger latch! MilRob, screamer of a gun for sure! I am always appreciative of the info, pics, and sharing of insight I get from this board. Now I will have to go look at several of my guns and see if the latches are rounded or standard shaped!
