Bob, problems with the ejector function are very hard to diagnose without having the gun in hand. If you hear something clicking when the ejector is supposed to kick, it could be a weak or broken ejector spring on that side, maybe something blocking the travel of that ejector hammer, etc etc. I recommend you get your Wildfowl to a good Foxsmith. Cladio in Ontario is the only one I'm familiar with myself in Canada. frank

The other Wildfowl barrel flats I have pictures of are similar to 134110.

I know I have a picture of a Fox barrel with the Stevens Proof Tested stamp somewhere, but can't find it right now. The Stevens mark is a larger oval with a big S in it with smaller P and T within the loops od the S. Here it is on a J. Stevens --

Frank, I'm no gunsmith, but I took a look at the ejectors. Seems like a pretty basic set up, at least out side the action. It appears that the main problem is that someone got carried away with greasing the hook. Gunk under the dog leg sear didn't allow it to lift far enough up to release the sear so it was always cocked. I took the ejector iron out of the forearm and used some action spray cleaner and re-lubed it. The extractor on that side was sticking a bit when it was pushed all the way in. A quick clean up has the right ejector kicking out the empty every time it is the only fired barrel and some of the times when both are fired. I've got it soaking and I think it should work when it is cleaned up.
