Bamboozler, I hope the guy who posted recently,[imnutz] with the ejector Sterlingworth that has been restocked and carved see's this post as it shows what can be done to make a one of a kind Sterly. Looking good "mon" can't wait to see the finished project. Waiting patiently, kind of, Lee!

My goodness that's a nice piece of walnut. Not sure what you had to shell out for it, but it wouldn't look out of place on an FE for sure. Keep us posted.

I received my 12-ga. Sterlingworth Ejector Pin Gun back from the stocker recently and am looking forward to shooting it a bit before heading off with it to the metalsmith. The gun has a name! From this point forward I'm calling it..."The Signature Gun". Here are a few pics:

That is one beautiful piece of wood. Tell us about the skeleton butt plate and is that a spacer between the butt plate and the stock?

Thank you for the compliments gents. The skeleton buttplate is from the bench of Stan McFarland and has been painstakingly and perfectly inlet via the old school method directly into the butt of the stock---no spacer was used.

Amazing is the only word I can come up with. My goodness what a nice stick of walnut. What do you believe the finished weight will come at and what is the intended use??

At 7 lbs. 15 oz., tight bores and tight chokes this gun is tentatively going to be my dedicated turkey gun. Now, I have never hunted turkeys, nor do I have plans to ever hunt them, but if I ever do---I have the gun! Seriously though, I enjoy duck and bird hunting as much as anyone and get out at every opportunity, but in all actuality I will take about 500 shots at a clay target to every one shot I take at a game bird, so this gun will see most of it's action on clays courses and will be with me in the Pigeon Ring at this year's Yooper Shoot...The U.P. Side-by-Side Classic.
