Ah fox model a value

I have a Ansley h fox 12 gauge double barrel shotgun with a 30 inch barrel,ser #29331 that was left to me and I was wondering if it's valuable, and input will be greatly appreciated.

Looks like a nice mid-1920s A-Grade 12-gauge. A-Grade was the entry-level Ansley (no i) H. Fox shotgun. Downside it is a 12-gauge, and there are more entry-level, shooter quality, old American 12-gauge doubles than there is market demand. Retail likely in the $1500 range and a dealer might offer half that. Here are the catalog pages for the A-/AE-Grade from the 1926 A.H. Fox Gun Co. catalog --

This style A-Grade was introduced in 1914, and the catalog text and picture remained pretty much the same from 1914 thru 1929. Early on the A-/AE-Grades were stocked in imported walnut (Juglans regia) but WW-I ended that and from then on they were stocked in American walnut (Juglans nigra).
