Rich Anderson (COB), Jeff Stegmier (Steggy) and myself were able to connect yesterday for a couple rounds of sporting clays at our local club. It was a beautiful afternoon with temps in the low 80’s and low humidity w/a light breeze. We all shot different guns for each round and had a great time!
On the second round we shot trapper’s choice with either report pairs or true pairs thrown by the trapper. That was good practice for our MI grouse season which opened up on Monday. After we finished shooting we headed to a local pub for a great lunch and beverages. Thanks to Rich for making the 90 minute drive down to shoot w/us. Fun to get together and shoot!!
On the second round Jeff was shooting his go to C Grade 12 gauge, Rich was shooting a gorgeous Purdy 12 gauge and I was shooting my recently acquired BE/XE gun.
