All McIntosh did was stick them in his book. Roe Clark pulled them out of Fox detritus that survived moves from Philadelphia to Utica to Chicopee Fall to Westfield. Something in my estimation of minimal importance. The finished weight of the barrels and how the gun handles and balances is far more important than the weight number of the tube the worker started with.

Shot it at 5 stand today. Shot pretty well. Much thicker wrist then what I am used to. 28"barrels almost felt too short. Neat gun.
