I couldn't help myself and had to pick up this Savage Arms Corp. ad from a 1936 issue of Hardware Age magazine --

Makes me sorry about my conservative bid on the Skeet and Upland at the Guyette auction. May have been one of the better buys at the sale, but I'm selling, not buying.

Never saw that ad before. Kind of neat! They were certainly trying to pump up Fox sales!
