32" Sterlingworth

Post by rdoftx »

Hello sirs. New here but have been on doublegunshop for a while. How many Sterlingworths were made with 32" bbls? Mine is in the 98000 range, about 1924 I think.

Thanks.

That number could only be found by getting into the production cards at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West at Cody, Wyoming, and counting through 95000 or so production cards for 12-gauge Sterlingworth guns. From my 35 years of recording observed Sterlingworths I see 32-inch 12-gauges as about 7% of production.

Post some pics of your gun and give us some details on chokes, etc. etc. Always cool to see different guns
