I look forward to it every year.
Anyone know if RST will be onsite this year?

Re: Northeast SxS Reminder
The Northeast SxS starts two weeks today. I'll be there all three days; looking forward to shooting and spending time with friends and meeting new ones. There was a lot of excitement when we passed 500 Association members at 2021 year end - and I for one am looking forward to seeing mucho increased member participation than over recent years, whether Fox hunters, shooters or collectors. If any member has a troublesome Fox I'll be happy to look at it with you. I'll also have some good vintage guns for legal sale, not sure which right now, but those interested can watch our private Members For Sale forum next week. frank

Re: Northeast SxS Reminder
Thanks to all who replied. For some reason I no longer get a "thumbs up" emoji (or whatever it's called) when I sign on to the site either on a computer or my IPhone, otherwise I would have added it to the replies.
Looking back last night in my files to 10-12 years ago while I was the Shooting BD, and I saw that we typically had 20-30 Fox shooters signing up for the sporting courses at the A H Fox Championship which the Association hasn't offered in recent years. Whatever ...... but consider that was when we had about 200 AHFCA members. Well, we hit >500 paying members with a lot of hype at last published count at the end of 2021. Probably most of them renewed. So what number of Fox shooters are we expecting at this year's Northeast? A math direct proportion would indicate something like 50 Fox shooters - that's shooters not rounds on the courses. Surely it's a different world today as compared with a decade ago, or even 2 years ago. Food for thought my fellow members.

Re: Northeast SxS Reminder
When I attend the NE SxS Classic, I enjoy seeing the “gang” and shooting, and I encourage others to attend for the same reason. If that isn’t enough, Frank’s offer to look at “troublesome Foxes” is a good reason to drop everything and head to Friendsville, Pa. You would be hard pressed to find anyone better at diagnosing a problem, and suggesting a solution. I know from personal experience.
