Current Factory Letter Information
I thought forum members might be interested in the current information on factory letters from the Cody museum...

Re: Current Factory Letter Information
Good posting. I submitted a request a week ago, and spoke with Jessica, who was very pleasant. I'll be interested to see what the letter looks like.
Shoot vintage firearms, relax, and have fun.

Fin2, thanks for posting this! About 18 mos. ago I tried to track response time from Savage Arms for Fox letters by asking members to post about their experiences and wait times. While the cost from Cody is more, the response time quoted would give me much more incentive to order a letter with information on a Fox I really wanted. Kevin

Re: Current Factory Letter Information
I sent a request for a gun that had previously been checked against the association’s records. The record was missing from the collectors association records. Researcher commented atone time that the odds of Cody having the record were probably something less than one percent. As is usually the case, he was correct, they did not have a record. One can always hope. Their policy is to refund your money if they don’t have a record. I didn’t feel right about asking them to return my money in this case and donated it to their cause. The whole process took about a week and I feel Angela did an exceptional job. John
