A Fox Gets the Game 1925?

Post by Researcher »

This catalog which "conventional wisdom" considers a 1924, just went for big money on ebay --
1925 A Fox Gets the Game 01.jpg
with a January 1st, 1925, price list --
1925 A Fox Gets the Game 02.jpg
According to McIntosh/the Headricks, a 1925 catalog should be the "Wood Grain" cover --

of heavier stock then this 1927.

It's like a lot of this series; strange dates and hard to pick a date. Even McIntosh hesitated to be specific when listing them. However, the catalog appears to actually be end of the small "Fox gets the Game type, and is the only one with a HE page. Our
recent squadron of HE lovers should have gone nuts over this one !

$360.65 plus shipping. I have never seen what McIntosh/the Headricks called the 1925 catalog with the heavier stock "woodgrain" covers.
