For those who care about such things, the Bullitt Building, referenced as the address of the notary, was the HQ of the 4th Street National Bank of Philadelphia. It is torn down now but it was on South 4th Street in the Independance Mall area of Philadelphia.

Interesting that the plant and equipment of Philadelphia Arms Co. were sold to Ansley H. Fox, not the A.H. Fox Gun Co.?
From the information I dug up years ago on trips to archives in Trenton and a history museum in Philadelphia, the original A.H. Fox Gun Co. was incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey on April 6, 1905. This being the business that operated at Wayne & Bristol Streets in the Germantown/Wayne Junction section of Philadelphia, in 1905 and 06, and now we think possibly making guns up to serial number 3000. The Philadelphia Arms Co. a New Jersey corporation was dissolved and the A.H. Fox Gun Co. reincorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey on March 15, 1907. Then the A.H. Fox Gun Co. was again reincorporated under the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, on September 21, 1907. A tangled, tangled web!! Wish we would have been able to figure this out a bit more clearly for McIntosh's book.
