Fox Toys

[200052]

There seems to be some recent interest in the toys in this ad, and I thought any comments might add to every ones knowledge. The add is from "Junior Home Magazine", Chicago, December 1933 - just in time for Christmas. I have been led to believe the ads were in several home type magazines, but this is the first one I have found. Note it includes the well known doubles, plus single shots, repeaters, and the cannon. The cannon may appear to have a target in front of it, like a spinner ? The ad is 1933 which is in the Savage era, but listed the Fox Company on 18th Street. Any thing any one can add would be great. I would especially like to know something about the Ranger Toy Company, Columbus, who made the cannons; but I have drawn a blank on them.
