Very cool gun with a great story. Congratulations on the find. I personally like the engraving and agree it would look great case colored.

Another question is about the “Barrels Not Guaranteed” stamp. Was it there and removed or never there?

Curious if it carded with the single trigger.

Last Friday I was able to pick up my Sterlingworth and my new (to me) HE from the gun doctor. Jim, probably 2003? I'd have to check. I was amember of a small club that leased the middle of Beaver Dam for 3 seasons. We had to give it up after 3 years because it got to expensive. Great years though.
